standard cell technology design flow

A design methodology based on a library of cells which are predefined and pre-laid.
The library is provided by a vendor.
The logic design is realized by interconnecting the selected cells together.
Each cell in the library is parameterized by
1. speed
2. power
3. I / O interface
4. loading and driving strength
