HEALTH CARE CLINICAL MEDICAL RESEARCH

What is health and medical research?
Health and medical research aims to improve the health and well being of people. It draws on our knowledge of the human body and the world around us to find ways to identify, cure and prevent disease; reduce injury and disability; improve the delivery of health services; and help us to lead healthier lives.

Medical research involves research in a wide range of fields, such as biology, chemistry, pharmacology and toxicology with the goal of developing new medicines or medical procedures or improving the application of those already available.

Research is essential to find out which treatments work better for patients. It plays an important role in discovering new treatments, and making sure that we use existing treatments in the best possible ways. Some of the common aims for conducting research studies are to: Diagnose diseases and health problems.

Clinical research is a branch of healthcare science that determines the safety and effectiveness of medications, devices, diagnostic products and treatment regimens intended for human use. These may be used for prevention, treatment, diagnosis or for relieving symptoms of a disease.

Clinical research refers to all research carried out on humans (healthy or sick people). It focuses on improving knowledge of diseases, developing diagnostic methods and new treatments or medical devices to ensure better patient care.

What is the difference between clinical research and medical research?
