Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) is a smart antenna technique that increases speed, range, reliability and spectral efficiency for wireless systems. Because MIMO technology and the 802.11n standard has not be formally solidified I would be careful if purchasing and recommending a MIMO antenna based device. As with any robust wireless deployment I would consider antenna type and directional options, enclosures, form factors, gains, and mounting options.
