The 8051 Microcontroller was designed in 1980’s by Intel. Its foundation was on Harvard Architecture and was developed primarily for Embedded Systems. This Microcontroller finds applications in many electronic devices and machines. Some of its applications are Energy Management, Touch screens, Automobiles (especially in Hybrid vehicles) and Medical Devices.
