ELECTRICAL POWER TRANSMISSION LINE IEEE PAPER 2022


Transmission lines carry high voltage electricity, typically at 345,000 volts, over long distances between the power generation plant and customers. In some cases, a large industrial customer may receive electricity directly from overhead transmission lines. Power transmission lines are used to connect power stations and substations, and for connections between substations, in order to efficiently transmit large amounts of electricity at high voltage without loss, and therefore play a crucial role in providing electricity. Transmission line voltages vary from 44,000 to over 765,000 volts. The higher the voltage, the more electricity the line can carry.
